Yuhanis Omar obtained her first Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (1994) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Her studies focus more on Software Engineering courses. She completed her Master’s Degree and obtained her Master of Science (Information Technology) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2002. From 1994 – 2000, she worked as a System Analyst in one of the Renong Berhad subsidiaries, Kinta Kellas plc (Pengurusan Lebuhraya Berhad) and practiced her knowledge in Software Engineering in some projects that involves highway maintenance using Geographical Information System (GIS). She involved in teaching and learning since 2000 until present (2019) in few educational institutions (Politeknik Shah Alam, UPSI, Unitar, OUM, USIM, AeU) in full time and part time basis. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Computing and Informatics at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). She is currently a Head of Informatic & Analytics Section and Lecturer in the Information System Department at UniKL MIIT.
