Top 51 Worldwide at the Malaysia Drone Racing MultiGP Global Qualifier 2024

A huge shoutout to Amiruddin Mohd Khairi (@amirvddin), our talented Computer Security student at UniKL MIIT, for his latest remarkable achievement! Amiruddin secured 3rd Place in the Pro Category and ranked among the Top 51 worldwide at the Malaysia Drone Racing MultiGP Global Qualifier 2024. This adds to his impressive list of accomplishments, including representing Malaysia at the FAI Korea Drone Race World Cup 2022.

Amiruddin, who joined UniKL MIIT through the Foundation in Computer Technology (FICT) program in 2020, draws inspiration from his family, especially his dad, who has been flying RC airplanes since 1998.

“I’m inspired by my dad and the endless possibilities drones offer – racing, videography, robotics, programming, and more. I never give up on this passion,” says Amiruddin.
