UniKL MIIT provides adequate resources and services to support students’ need in sports activities. The Sports & Recreation Unit under the Campus Lifestyle Section (CLS) is responsible to provide the best services and activities to the students throughout the year. From the first day of freshman year, the unit helps students to unify their academic and career goals. There are 15 registered sports clubs for students to join. Every year, numerous sports activities and competitions are conducted to ensure that the lifestyle of the students is well balanced.

Supported by a strong Student Representative Committee (SRC), UniKL MIIT has more than 2500 students who have the opportunity to determine their role in what happens on campus. The SRC are in turn supported by the Student Sports Council which empowers young students to establish new sports clubs and obtain budgets for activities as they strive to create a campus environment that fully represents their interests.
