Dr. Mohd Nizam Husen is the Dean / Head of Campus, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT) and an Associate Professor in Cybersecurity and Technological Convergence Section at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. Prior to that, he received his B.Sc. degree in Computing from University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, in 1997 and the M.Sc. degree in Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia, in 2007.
Dr. Mohd Nizam Husen is an experienced researcher in computer science/computer engineering field. His research interests include intelligent systems, indoor localization, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, and visual attention. He is the author of more than 40 research articles in various high impact journals and international conferences. He is a certified Professional Technologist (Ts.) from Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT) and also a panel of MBOT. He is also actively involved as a Reviewer of renown ISI and Scopus journals such as the IEEE Communications Letters, Springer Mobile Networks and Applications, Journal of Pattern Recognition Research, Journal of Location Based Services and International Journal of Business Intelligence and Data Mining.
