Yasmin is a Head of Section in the Technical Foundation Section at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology. She received a PhD degree in Information Technology at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (MIIT), master degree in Applied Statistics at University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and Bachelor Degree in Mathematical Sciences at Lamar University, Texas, USA. She is actively involved in research relating to Modelling and Simulation and has published several papers in journals and international conferences.
Yasmin is an established lecturer teaching subjects related to Mathematics and Statistics for Diploma and Degree level. Her research interests include mathematical modelling, simulation and multivariate analysis (regression, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis). She actively participate in a few projects under UniKL short term research grant.
